About Parenting With Purpose
Parenting With Purpose is a Minnesota- based 501(c) 3 non-profit organization founded by Paul and Lori Strong in 1995 to break the cycle of intergenerational crime. PWP matches children of prisoners with caring adult mentors, teaches parenting classes to incarcerated parents, and provides life skills training designed for the spouse or caregiver(s) of the children. Through sharing the love of God, PWP has been able to bring healing and restoration to over 2,600 families in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area that have been affected by the incarceration of a parent.
The purpose of this weblog is to spread the word about the mission of PWP, discuss the latest issues that are relevant to that mission, and share the progress of the organization.
